I met Laura on the parade, she was working raising funds for Shelter, i begged her not to waste her breathe on me but I enjoyed her energy and banter. I told her I was looking for women to photograph in pencil skirts feeding pigeons, she immediately pointed to a green pencil skirt in the window of H and M, £14.99. I said, I would do a picture of her, based on memory of her and stick it in the project. OK it's not quite her as she was more symmetrical than I've drawn her with finer features too but it's fun.
The top was on the mannequin and also in H and M. The shoes were some Padovan's I photographed a couple of years ago.
