I saw a de Chirico painting last week in the flesh, and it was fairly rubbish, looked like he did it in a day or less, but i've always liked his empty streets with solitary figures in them and if i had caught her up or seen her again today, i would have photographed this woman (if she'd let me), this way. She had a short dress on with a dark band around the bottom, which made your brain think it was a two piece but no two piece could be that low without falling down, so it was an optical illusion of sorts (well it wasn't really but...).
